Burnout is not anything new. It doesn’t happen overnight and usually accumulates over a period of time. Tthe feelings of extreme exhaustion, ineffectiveness, and general apathy build up until one day you wake up and say, “I cannot and will not get out of bed and go to that office.”
Most causes of burnout are from the work itself like project overload, insufficient incentives at work and even office politics. Mashable, however, identified three things that you can change to avoid coming to a burnout. You’ve heard this before. And you’ve probably ignored it all before because you want to be successful. Well, big news, these three habits might make you feel more successful in the short run, but down the road, you’re going to find yourself hitting a dead end.
